THE WORKSHOP

The curtain is about to rise, and you have been invited backstage...

It’s Paris, in the 1870s. The ballet is the talk of the city, and the dancers have taken up residence in a grand stately house.

Bring your camera and take your place in the wings. Rehearsal is already underway.

Inside, the piano is playing, ribbons are being tied and tulle drifts through the rooms in blush and powder blue. Somewhere between first position and the final bow is the shot of the season, and by the time the encore arrives, it’ll be in your camera.

The dancers are ready, the light is perfect and the stage is yours…

Anthony

Co-founder, Operations & Studio Fashion

Anthony (Ant to everyone) co-founded Creativity Hub alongside Naomi. He runs operations on every event: venue logistics, set build, lighting kit, schedule, catering. If something goes right on an event day, Ant arranged it three months earlier. If something goes wrong, he's already fixing it.

On the floor, Ant teaches the location-fashion sessions and the glossy-magazine clean-light setups that anchor every location and international event.

Katie

Casting Director

Katie heads the casting director's office, the longer-arc work of finding new models, performers, dancers, period specialists, and stunt-trained subjects to keep the casting roster fresh. Often seen running around backstage with a clipboard, she's equal parts talent scout and movement expert and she knows exactly when someone has “it”, and how to get them in the room!

If you're a working model, performer, or specialist looking to work with the Hub, Katie is who you talk to. The casting database is open to new applicants twice a year.

Styled models & sets

Professionally styled models sets for all half-day or full-day sessions with dedicated models on each set.

Lunch & refreshments

A buffet style lunch with the team gives a welcome break for full-day attendees to reset, review pictures, and prepare for the afternoon sessions. Tea, coffee and pastries throughout the day for all guests.

Aftercare & community

A place in our community groups to share images and support fellow photographers in celebrating the best events shots, and stay in touch long after the event.

1-to-1 shooting time

With group sizes of only 3-4 so you will enjoy plenty of dedicated time within your group to shoot 1-to-1 with agency level models on each set. Never a scrum for position - paparazzi style shooting is strictly forbidden.

Direct access to a Lighting Director

To help your build confidence, every event kicks off with a full kit demo covering lighting and camera settings relevant for the event aesthetic. Lighting directors are always on-hand to take questions throughout the day if required.

Full lighting kit

Multi-light rig with a selection of modifiers to help you craft the perfect shots. You bring a camera, we provide the rest.
