the trip

Some locations make the photograph. Puglia is one of them...

Puglia photographs like nowhere else with ancient trulli against white sky, cave dwellings worn smooth by millennia, limestone alleys that hold shadow and light in perfect measure. For a fashion photographer, it isn't just a beautiful place to visit, it's a setting that does half the work before you've raised the camera.

This trip puts you inside it properly. Three professional models and dancers, cast and styled for couture. A complete lighting setup at every pre-scouted location. Jason, Anthony and Naomi beside you throughout on every shoot, for every setup. Four photographers, and a ratio that guarantees you real, unhurried time with each model.

Three shooting days across the UNESCO trulli of Alberobello, the cave city of Matera, the turquoise Adriatic coast, and the olive groves and pool of your private trullo villa. You shoot; we arrange everything else.

day by day

Four nights, three days of shooting.
Sumptuously planned.

DAY ONE

01

Arrival and settling in.

Bari airport → Ceglie Messapica

Airport transfer & check-in
We collect you from Bari airport and transfer you to the villa, roughly an hour through Puglian olive country. Settle into your own room, take a swim, find your feet.

Villa & olive grove warm-up shoot
An optional relaxed first session in the grounds as the light drops and a chance to meet the models, test your kit and work alongside the educators before the full shooting days begin.

Welcome dinner at the villa
A home-cooked Puglian feast and local wine on the terrace. Introductions, the plan for the three days, and an early night.

DAY TWO

02

Alberobello & Ostuni.

The trulli town & the white city

Trulli of Alberobello
The cone-roofed, whitewashed UNESCO town, pre-scouted quiet lanes and rooftops where couture reads beautifully against the pale stone. Worked early, before the day-trippers arrive.

Ostuni, the white city
A short drive to the hilltop maze of lime-washed alleys and stone archways, near-endless clean backdrops, dramatic shadow and Adriatic views. A natural for movement and flowing fabric.

Home-cooked dinner at the villa
Back at the trullo for dinner and an unhurried frame review with the team.

Alberobello

DAY THREE

03

Matera & the cave city

The Sassi · with your food experience

The Sassi at first light
One of the oldest continuously inhabited places on earth with tiered cave dwellings, worn stone stairways and golden tufa walls. Endlessly cinematic, and exactly the kind of textured, timeless backdrop couture was made for.

Your food experience
Hands-on mozzarella & burrata making, or wood-fired pizza making and a long Italian lunch. Either way, camera down, completely immersed in Puglian food culture.

Dinner at the villa
Back for dinner at sunset and a sociable evening on the terrace.

DAY FOUR

04

The sea, then the villa at sunset.

Spiaggia di San Vito → trullo & olive groves

Spiaggia di San Vito
Turquoise Adriatic water, pale rock and an old monastery as backdrop the day's open, airy, sea-light counterpoint to all that stone. Movement and flow work especially well here with the dancers.

Couture among the olive trees
Back to the villa for the finale: gowns and full lighting among the ancient olive groves and around the pool as the sun drops. The villa was chosen specifically for this moment, it photographs as well as anywhere we travel to.

Final feast
A last long dinner together at a Puglian restaurant, booked and hosted and a chance to see what everyone made across the three days.

DAY FIVE

05

Slow morning and departure.

Villa → Bari airport

Final breakfast & transfer
A relaxed last breakfast, then transfers back to Bari for your flight home. We match transfer timing to the group's departures, so no one is left stranded.

The final farewell

Anthony

Co-founder, Operations & Studio Fashion

Anthony (Ant to everyone) co-founded Creativity Hub alongside Naomi. He runs operations on every event: venue logistics, set build, lighting kit, schedule, catering. If something goes right on an event day, Ant arranged it three months earlier. If something goes wrong, he's already fixing it.

On the floor, Ant teaches the location-fashion sessions and the glossy-magazine clean-light setups that anchor every location and international event.

Naomi

Co-founder, Commercial & Creative

Naomi co-founded Creativity Hub in 2017 and leads on all corporate partnerships and strategic sponsorships. She works with leading photography brands to bring the best kit into the room, giving photographers direct, hands-on access to the tools that shape their work on the day.

She loves working in high-pressure creative environments and uses that experience to shape events where photographers can produce stronger, more ambitious work.

Jason

Lead Educator, Content

Jason is the technical brain behind the lighting setups, studio systems, and digital backbone of the Hub. From cinematic portrait lighting to high-end commercial setups, he teaches photographers how to shape light with confidence while somehow making the technical feel creative, simple, and genuinely fun.

When he’s not leading lighting education, Jason is usually behind the scenes building, fixing, upgrading, or reinventing the Creativity Hub digital world, from the website and event systems to the little innovations nobody notices until they stop working. Part photographer, part educator, part full-time tech fixer, he’s the reason both the lights and the website stay on.

ESCAPE LEADERS

Three tutors on every shoot.

The cast — 3 professional models & dancers per trip

Each departure travels with three professional models and dancers, cast specifically for couture and movement work. With only four photographers to three models, there's no queuing for a frame you'll have real, unhurried time with each of them, fully styled and lit, across all three shooting days. Full names and portfolios are shared with confirmed photographers ahead of the trip.

Where you'll stay

olive groves.

The Trullo Villa

★ ★ ★ ★ ★

Home for four nights is a restored trullo, the conical dry-stone houses unique to this corner of Puglia, set in its own olive groves with a private pool. It's genuinely one of the most photogenic places on the entire trip, which is exactly why two of your shooting sessions happen right here.

Comfortable private rooms, shared terraces, the pool and the olive grove as both a social heart and an open-air set. Every meal except one is cooked here - by design, not convenience. A working trullo is far better for the group dynamic than a hotel corridor.

  • Private room per photographer

  • Private pool

  • Olive grove grounds

  • Outdoor dining terraces

  • Authentic trullo architecture

  • Home-cooked meals on site

  • ~1 hour from Bari airport
