WHAT WE BUILT
Four years.
One new product.
Sold out in days.
After Hours takes the live shooting environment we've built with TPS and strips it down to its most focused form: forty-five photographers, professional cast, the Creator Playground after the show floor empties. Two hours. Fully hosted. Nothing like a trade show.
The Build In detail
i
Live Shooting Bays
Every year starts with a blank brief and a new creative direction. Roller disco. Rococo garden. 1940s Parisian café. Each theme is researched, designed, and built from scratch by our production team.
iv
After Hours the evening experience
A two-hour, ticketed fashion and portrait shooting session in the Creator Playground, after the show closes. Forty-five photographers. The same professional cast. Hosted end-to-end by Creativity Hub Events.
ii
Experiential Activations
Beyond the bays, we produce the broader experiential layer of TPS activations that create dwell time, generate content, and give brands a presence that goes beyond a stand and a brochure.
v
Lighting brand intergration
Each set is designed to showcase the year's featured lighting partners at their best. The set is the brief for every lighting brand we work with at TPS.
iii
Four year partnership
The depth of a four-year relationship means we understand TPS's audience, their expectations, and the creative bar we need to clear every year. The brief gets better because the relationship does.
vi
Expansion to three nights
One evening was the test. Three evenings is the product. After Hours is expanding to run across three consecutive nights at the next show, proof that what started as a single activation has become a fixture in the TPS programme.
Behind the lens
The Creator Playground, after the show closes.
After the show closes, the Creator Playground belongs to forty-five photographers who have direct access to a professional cast and live sets for two hours with no crowds, no queues, and no compromise. Hosted end-to-end by Creativity Hub Events.

The numbers

We didn't launch After Hours cold. We launched it into four years of trust, credibility, and an audience that already knew what we could build. That's why it sold out in under a week.

THE BRIEF
A trade show experience worth coming back for.
The Photography Show is the UK's largest photography trade event and for four years, Creativity Hub Events has been part of what makes it worth attending. Our role in the partnership is clear in structure and substantial in practice: we design, build, and run the live shooting bays and experiential activations on the show floor. We supply the professional models who bring those environments to life.
The result is something neither party could deliver alone; a genuine, hands-on creative experience embedded within a trade show, every year.
After Hours was our pitch. The infrastructure was already there: the sets, the cast, the Creator Playground sitting empty after the last visitor had left the floor. What we proposed was turning that latent potential into a standalone product; a ticketed, two-hour fashion and portrait shooting experience for 45 photographers, hosted by Creativity Hub Events after the show closed for the day. Premium access. No crowds. Real creative conditions in one of the UK's most exciting photography spaces.
It sold out in under a week. Next year, it runs across three consecutive evenings.
What the partnership was built to do
i
Give TPS's audience of working and aspiring photographers a hands-on reason to spend more time on the show floor, beyond browsing gear.
Build a premium, ticketed experience from the existing set infrastructure: a commercial product with its own demand, its own audience, and its own waitlist.
ii
iii
Establish a model with genuine expansion potential — one night as proof of concept, three nights as the commercial next step.

Photography from TPS over the years
4 years of sets, built to be photographed.
The creative brief for a four-year partnership evolves differently from a single activation. By year two, we know what the TPS audience responds to. We know where the light falls. We know which cast choices generate the most compelling work. After Hours is now an annual fixture in a serious photographer's calendar.
Is this for you?
Three briefs that
would lead here.
Our TPS activations are built for a specific brief. If yours sounds like one of these, a conversation is probably worth your time.
if you need
An exclusive experience that becomes a brand asset.
After Hours sold out in under a week. The expansion to three nights is demand-led, not speculative. If you're looking for an activation with a clear commercial trajectory (and a waitlist before it launches) this is the model.
if you need
A footfall driver that stands out at a trade show.
After Hours creates pre-show social momentum that benefits the whole TPS footfall, not just the set. Photographers post about it before they arrive. The waitlist itself is a content asset.
if you need
A live shooting environment that gives your audience a reason to stay.
Trade show footfall is one thing. Dwell time is another. The shooting bays we build for TPS turn a browse into a session. Photographers don't just pass through, they shoot, share, and come back.
YOUR NEXT STEP
Like what we built for The Photography Show? Let's talk
about what we can build for you.
Partnerships like TPS After Hours start with a single conversation about what you want photographers to experience. We bring the creative, production, and logistics. You bring the brief. The first year is the beginning, not the whole story.
